Public Education Suffers from Standardized Tests

The Real News reports that public schools are not only suffering from poor education based on rote memorization for “standardized tests” but these tests are necessary for federal funding and many schools will be punished for doing poorly on standardized tests. A lack of funding will not make these schools more productive.
