Third Party Presidential Candidates for the 2012 Election
Jill Stein is the liberal 3rd party candidate that is running for president in enough states to potentially win 270 electoral votes. Gary Johnson, a libertarian, is the only candidate running in every state. Rocky Anderson will only be running in four states.
Jill Stein wants to help the poor and middle class at the expense at the rich, but we should keep in mind that the rich are currently getting unfair advantages and are taxed less than many non-rich people. (A flat tax would increase the amount of taxes the rich would have to pay).
Gary Johnson wants typical libertarian policies. That means more freedom and less corporate welfare (unfair advantages for the rich). However, Gary Johnson might also be against welfare for the poor (safety nets).
Both Jill Stein and Gary Johnson are for ending our wars and are for same-sex marriage.
